Woke up to cloudy skies that resulted in not a spectacular sunrise…drat!   But the day got better quickly as I set off to snorkel with the black tip sharks and stingrays!

As the boat approached the snorkel spots a school of black tip sharks swam by and I knew it was gonna be a good day! We were in waist deep water filled with fish, sharks and stingrays.  All you had to do is float and suddenly you were surrounded by sharks.  It was incredible I did not want to leave.  Then we headed off to a coral reef for the second snorkel.  My camera battery was dead at this point since I took 400 pictures of the sharks so I just enjoys the reef watching all the little fish dive in and out of the coral.   Then the rain came and we are scurried back to the boat for a cold ride back to the ship.

The evening was a special event back on the private island where we greeted with lei’s and tropical drinks.  It started raining on the way over so we arrived a bit damp!!  After dinner we were treated to dancer and then fire dancers.

As we headed back to the ship the sky’s opened up and we got soaked!

The experience I had snorkeling with the sharks made this yet another “Best Day Ever”
