The day began with a disappointment! I had schedule a donut tour of Dublin and had saved my cheat day for it and just before it was suppose to start I got notice that it was cancelled!! But I was not to be deterred and mapped out the route and found the donuts myself. Beautiful and yummy donuts!!!

I joined up with my new friends Kim at and Ernie to start exploring Dublin. We wandered about the city then ended up at Guinness Storehouse for a tour and tasting. We learned the proper way to drink a Guinness is to sniff it first like a fine wine then take a big drink (no sipping) so you get some foam but not all foam. After the tour we headed to the 7th floor viewing room for a pint! The view of Dublin was spectacular and the pint was the perfect way to celebrate being in Ireland.

After Guinness we wandered back to the hotel and then boarded the hop on hop off bus for a night tour of Dublin. It wasn’t dark yet so we didn’t get to experience the city lights but it was fun to see the city from the upper deck.

The building that is the featured photo glass cylinder is tilted at the angle need for the perfect pour of Guinness!! Dublin loves Guinness!!!

My adventure to Scotland and Ireland is coming to an end as I head back to the US in the morning. I have been so blessed to have this adventure and have enjoyed so many “Best Day Ever…so far!!! I am headed to Washington, DC to explore some US history and to visit the Whitehouse.

Thanks for adventuring with me!!
