Sunrise in the desert with my camel friend who loved posing, was the perfect way to start the day. Soon we were headed off to explore the natural sights of Morocco.

We drove though flat lands with no signs of life then the mountains began to appear with homes built into them and lush green trees surrounding them.

Todra Palmeraie Gorge with its dramatic 985-foot-high walls and a small river running though it was spectacular.

We arrived at Boumalne Dades a town set on the edge of the Sahara Desert just before sunset. The clouds covered the sunset so no spectacular pictures but the group settled into our Riad for a fun evening of food, song and dance.
