The rain has returned!!! It rained all the way from Kennebunkport to Manchester, NH. The rain derailed all the plans for the day. The museum that I wanted to go to was closed, the parks were flooded and walking was impossible so what did we do?????? We went to the mall. The clerk at the hotel told us it was a large mall with lots to do and one of the top things to do in Manchester. We braved the torrential rain and made it to the mall. Well the mall was a bit underwhelming (OK it was sad)!
We walked to try to get a bit of exercise after three laps around the mall (less than a mile) we got bored and the crazy ideas started to flow. Betty posed as an angel…..hmmm! I wanted to ride the space shuttle but sadly we had no quarters!!! Then off to conquer the glow in the dark miniature golf course where we ended up two under par (right) and celebrated with smoothies!
After all that exercise we had to indulge in chair massages!!
After we recovered from our exciting day at the mall we braved the weather to walk to dinner that took us past the Veterans Memorial Park.
What could have been a boring day became a “Best Day Ever”!!!
