Guess what…..It’s raining. My morning walkabout was cut short by the rain so I only got to see a bit of the waterfront we are located on. The rain did not stop the people jumping in the water from the floating sauna or the swans completing getting into the water.

What to you do when it’s a rainy Saturday in Copenhagen??? Well of course you head to the sauna. CopenHot is the ultimate sauna experience. It is located in an area known as little Siberia and when we were driving there I began to doubt the choice as the area is very sketchy but once we got there it was incredible. They have 14 different sauna experience including cold plunge pool filled everyday from the ocean, We chose the panoramic one and even splurged on a Gus Master. A Gus Master manages the heat, plays relaxing music and add different scents to the water to create a relaxing experience. In between sessions we went outside to cool off. I was so relaxed and feeling very pampered as we laid on the shelves soaking in the heat!!!

By afternoon the rain had stopped so we went on a canal ride with a company called “Hey Captain” who features Social Cruising. We barely got away from the dock when it started raining so I got to drive there boat while Max our driver put the top up!!!! Be afraid!!!

Once we were securely under the top we continued on!!! We cruised past the white and gold royal yacht…a small floating palace.

We continued on to a fort that during WWII was used to house 500 German troops.

Exploring the small canals we saw how the locals live from house boats to cargo container made into studio apartments.

Back in the city we went past the former royal palace, used now to house the royal horses and the current royal residence that includes a church with a green dome.

Soon we were back on the dock having experience the beauty of Copenhagen via its large number of canals.

An incredible day of relaxing like a local and exploring the city!!!

So blessed to have yet another “Best Day Ever….So Far”!!
