The night train from Bergen to Oslo was a fun experience. Although the cabin was tiny it had everything I needed for the night except for a toilet. I went to the WC down the hall at 3am and was surprised when I opened the door and there was a guy walking past. The gentle rocking of the train made for a short but good nights sleep.
We arrived back in Oslo at 6:45am and it was raining really hard. We grabbed some breakfast and watched the rain for about two hours then because we were all getting sleepy just setting around we braved the weather and grabbed an Uber to the cruise terminal to stow our luggage for the trip to Copenhagen.
Right after we got our luggage into the storage locker it rain stopped and we went walking about the waterfront. It was great just being outside and reliving some of the fun moments we had in Oslo. No pictures as this was a repeat of areas I have already shared.
When we were at the fort we discovered the empty guard stand and had to pose like royal guards. Not quite as dramatic without the hat and uniform!!!
Soon we boarded our night ferry to Copenhagen. The sun popped out just as we were sailing away. Goodbye to Norway we had fun adventuring in this beautiful country.
Can’t wait to explore Copenhagen, Denmark!!!
