Our train arrived in Venice just before sunset and when we stepped out of the train station we were on the Grand Canal!!! I was awestruck by the beauty of this magnificent city!!
Our flat is just a long block off of the Grand Canal down a narrow alley complete with our own canal. The sunset picture is from our balcony. After dinner we walked back to the Grand Canal for a stroll to see the canal at night.
I am already in love with this city and can’t wait until tomorrow to explore it!!!!
We were just there! I hope it’s cooler for you than it was for us, but if not, I found that eating Gelato all day helps. 😉
