Today was the main event of the Sail4th 250 celebration as the Class A Tall Ships Paraded up Hudson River from Verrazzano Bridge to George Washington Bridge. I am so blessed to witness this spectacular display of beautiful tall ships from all over the world working together to bring joy!!!
Before the tall ship parade we were treated to a parade of the military ships that are here for fleet week and then a fly over that included the Blue Angels!!!!
Of course no July 4th celebration is complete without fireworks!! We were on the water gliding along the glittering Hudson River filled with ships of all sizes, listing to live entertainment filled the air and patriotic spirit high as we took in the breathtaking panoramic views of iconic landmarks: the majestic Empire State Building, towering One World Trade Center, the timeless Brooklyn Bridge, and the illuminated Manhattan skyline.
As twilight descended upon us we anchored for views of the nation’s most spectacular fireworks spectacle—the legendary Macy’s display exploding over the East River,lighting up the sky above the Statue of Liberty.
