The day started with Mimosas on our deck as we watch the sunrise evolve. Life is good!!
After a leisurely start to the day we headed out to explore Cedar Key. We walked about a mile to a boardwalk to hike through the mangrove trees and ended up in a cemetery….oops!!!
In our walkabout town we found lots of fun art including street art, mosaics and sculpture made from car parts.
Then it was happy hour and we went to two local bars to hang with the locals including a bar cat!!!
Sunset found us on our deck facing the setting sun. Yes, we have the whole top floor with a wrap around deck that allows us to see both the sunrise and sunset!!!
We feasted on cheese and crackers and a good red wine as we experience another spectular sunset.
Tomorrow we head out to Fort Meyers an overnight stop on our way to Key Largo and eventually our ultimate destination of Key West!!
