I was sad when I went out on the deck and found that we were totally socked in and there would be no sunrise!!!!
A couple of hours later the clouds cleared and we went for a 3 mile beach walk before we had to head to Daytona for my flight home.. We did a picture to compare of our now tan feet to the picture just 16 days ago. My pale feet have a nice sandal tan.!!!There is a beach restoration project in process and the bulldozer in the water is part of the plan to replace the beach sand washed away during hurricanes so turtles have places to nest.
All too soon it was time to head to Daytona.
We adventured a bit on the boardwalk then headed to the airport that is right across from Dayton Raceway.
This has been a phenomenal trip…so many “Best day Ever..so far.”
There will be a summary blog in the next few days recapping the 37 day adventure then off to finalize my next adventure to London, Kenya and Tanzania beginning July 18th.
